DSL installed at over 800 Stores
Worldlink assisted their customer, Hot Topic, realize great savings on their overall WAN expenditures by working closely with the Hot Topic IT team and Telco Partner, AT&T, to deploy a new DSL network to over 800 stores located throughout the US. Worldlink provided a full turn-key solution through the engagement of their professional project team, west coast staging center and national field installation technicians.
All required equipment was received at Worldlink’s west coast staging center where they maintained inventory, provided custom staging and integration and coordinated just in time shipments to the each Hot Topic store. Worldlink verified the equipment was on site and dispatched their experienced field technicians to complete the in-store installation and system cutover with minimal impact to the store. Worldlink’s project team worked cohesively as an extension of Hot Topic’s IT team while coordinating with AT&T and Hot Topic operational groups to complete the project on time and on budget.
“As a project manager for a multi-year nationwide retail chain DSL deployment, I was looking for a partner who could integrate seamlessly with our team and provide the level of service that we would expect from our own employees. Not only did Worldlink meet these requirements, they went above and beyond – handling the day to day problems without supervision or handholding and delivering in the timeframe they promised. I would highly recommend Worldlink for your retail integration and deployment needs.”
